Foods richest in proteins are those from the animal kingdom - meats. Of all the animal meats, horse is the most rich in protein and has the least fat (although of course it is not recommended to eat because they are our friends!). Beef is fatter than the horse but some parts of it (like filet mignon) are less fatty.

Mutton, lamb and pork are full of fat.
Animal organs are quite high in protein and not much fat or liver fat except with a small dose of sugar.
Chicken, goose girl and the rate is very high in protein and not much fat at all, especially chicken.
Fish, especially white fish is extremely low in fat: soil, code and hake are a handful of proteins. Although sardines, tuna, salmon, mackerel and herring have a little more fat, they are still an excellent source of protein. Same crustaceans like crab, shrimp, and other seafood. It should be noted that the skin (coral) shellfish is quite rich in cholesterol and therefore be healthier to remove the skin before eating.

The egg is a very interesting source of protein. Yolk is full of fat and cholesterol. However, whites, interestingly, is the purest food protein known. Therefore, use the two together allow eggs to be on the list of approved foods Dukan.

Protein digestion is the longest and laborious of all food categories. Our body takes over three hours to disintegrate and assimilate protein. The reason for this is simple: Protein molecules are long chains strongly welded together so that digestion requires a laborious task with their chewing and with different juices (bile, pancreas, etc.) to digest them. This extraction is expensive work our body: protein digestion consumes 30% of calories from protein eaten. Thus, for a piece of protein with 100 calories your body consumes 30 calories in the digestive process and remains only with 70 at the end. In addition, long assimilation increases the feeling of satiety and makes you feel full faster and for much longer.

A very important thing to note is that proteins are only essential nutrient without which we cannot live. Of the three universal nutrients, lipids, carbohydrates and proteins, only the latter are indispensable. Nutrient carbohydrates are the least important of the three because our body can produce glucose, which is sugar, meat or fat. Therefore, when you do not eat carbohydrates, our body disintegrates automatically stored fat to turn them in carbohydrates (is why lose weight so fast you do not eat carbohydrates!). In addition, our body is very expert in the manufacture and storage of fat in meat. (Especially for those of us trying to lose weight)
Instead, our muscle, red blood cells, hair growth and even memory function are operations for which the body requires protein - a daily minimum of one gram of protein for every kilogram weigh how. If we do not provide enough protein that, our body is trying to get its reserves: mainly in the muscles, skin and bones. Therefore, it is extremely dangerous and not recommended to follow the fluid regimes, or regimes only fruit, etc. for extended periods of time.

What is the only protein consumption?

All animal species, including humans, get their nutrition from the consumption of the three nutrients Universal: lipids, carbohydrates and proteins in the mixture. However, to each their ideal mixture recommended species differ. If man is 5-3-2 mixture: if 5 parts sugar, 2 parts 3 parts fat and protein. You will be surprised to know that it is mixed content in breast milk. Thus, when eating this mixture is easier for your body to digest and assimilate food, is to gain weight.

Thus, we can deduce that these proportions will change to disturb digestion and absorption calories. In addition, of course, we can deduce that if we use only one of these foods, absorption of calories will be even lower.

Ok, but as discussed above, only consumption of fat or carbohydrates is not only healthy. Only food is indispensable for the functioning of our body proteins. On this principle was born Dukan regime.
