After
thirty years of successes with his patients, Dr. Dukan in 2000 decided to make
public his rules in the book called "Je ne sais step maigir" meaning
"I'm not losing weight." Within a few years, it has become a
spectacular success in France and only Harry Potter surpassed it in sales.
Dukan Diet has recently become very popular in the world because of, who else,
if not celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Giselle.
One
of the reasons Dukan Diet grabbed my attention (and I tried many others
before!) Is that it allows you to eat anything you want. Although the groups of
foods that can be eaten are quite small, can be eaten in unlimited quantities. In
addition, I do not know if the rest of the world is the same, but I was always
seemed impossible to me limit myself to a certain number of calories per day. I
mean, or eat too much or too little, and never in equilibrium. Besides, who can
imagine a life that continually should limit consumption of food? The second
reason that influenced my decision to try it is that Dukan Diet offers a way to
not only lose weight but to prevent putting weight back to life. Those who
tried the Dukan Diet said is not just a weight loss diet but a global plan that
will teach you what you need to do not only in the phase of weight loss but for
life. Dukan Diet consists of four stages, each equally important:
The first phase of
Dukan Diet: Attack Phase
Dr.
Dukan called this first phase of the plan "attack phase" because it
is to start war against those pounds that will not go away. In this phase, you
eat only protein.
The second phase of
the Dukan Diet: Cruise Phase
During
cruise mode to alternate days of protein only days with protein + vegetables
consumed.
The third phase of
the Dukan Diet: Phase of consolidation
Dr.
Dukan refers to this period as the period of highest vulnerability of the
regime. These days the body tends to put back lost weight with extreme ease.
Fixed consolidation phase lasts 10 days for every pound lost during the diet.
The
fourth and last stage of the Dukan Diet: final stabilization phase
After
25 years of study, Dr. Dukan has determined that we need a comprehensive plan
to ensure not only weight loss but also weight maintenance, weight loss for
life. In this final phase consists of stabilization. Stabilization is based on
three simple measures but like the rest Dukan, diet measures indispensable.
These three steps are:
One
day a week, Thursdays will be for life one day attack. I mean in that day ye
eat only protein just like during the attack
Abandon
area-riding elevators in favor of stairs
3
tablespoons of oat bran per day (food will discuss this later in detail).
