The basic principles

"We cannot lose our own fat if you eat other fats."
OK, before we get into specific details about diet, let us spend a few minutes discussing the principles on which it is based and why it works with such effectiveness. I first time I read the book I was tempted to skip this chapter and understanding of food helped me tremendously I according to diet.
Universal diet consists of only three elements: carbohydrates, lipids and proteins.

Something that surprised me a lot the first time I read the book Dr. Dukan is our body huge difference between eating 100 calories of sugar vs. 100 calories vs. 100 calories of butter over.

Carbohydrates / Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are important for energy body - which provides about 50% of our daily energy rations. Carbohydrates are present in fruit, honey, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, lentils, beans, etc... Fruits richest in carbohydrates are bananas, cherries and grapes. Also wine and all alcohol.

Our body absorbs carbohydrates very quickly and easily. It also facilitates carbohydrate assimilation insulin secretion that directly promotes the production and storage of fat.

Dukan plan carbohydrates entirely exclude the attack phase. During the cruise, diet allows consumption of vegetables because they have so much sugar component. The remaining carbohydrates are reintroduced by little during the period of consolidation but will not be consumed in unlimited amounts until you reach the stage of stabilization.


Lipids

Lipids are of course the biggest enemy of weight loss. As Dr. Dukan says, "We cannot lose fat if you eat fat others!"
However, in recent years a large number of diets have opened consumption of fat and famous Atkins diet. It is now clear that unfortunately this was an error. Fat consumption results in increased levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, which have harmful effects on health.
Lipids derived from two sources:
  • animal fats and vegetable fats.
  • Animal fats are found mainly in pork, lamb, goose and duck. Beef fat is much less except steak and ribs that are full of fat.
  • Butter is a pure and almost as fat as is and cream.

In the group, there are 5 major suppliers of fish fat: sardines, tuna, salmon, mackerel and herring. We must mention that these types of fish, although among the most full fat over existing gender, have more fat than a regular piece of beef. In addition, these body fats are extremely beneficial because they are rich in omega 3 fats that help prevent cardiovascular disease.

Vegetable fats oils course. The oil is actually even fatter than butter.
